Default 21 XM Outboard

hello, every one just wondering if the 21 XM Outboard has the same boltpattern as the K&B 3.5? so i canchange the engine to a cmb outboard motor.

No it does not. You would need to have a custom PTO made for the CMB to OS lower.

what about the thundertiger outboard dose it have the same bolt pattern as the k&b?
ant what is PTO?

The TT will not bolt on to the K&B either. PTO is Power Take Off. When you unbolt the motor from the lower, it would be the piece that transfers the the power to the lower via the cable. An inboard motor has a backplate vs the PTO.

If you ask over on http://www.intlwaters.com/ I know there are guys in Southern Cal that have modified the CMB to fit try to look up Chriss Grimm. I have my MAC power head that fits on the 21xm IMO the OS lower is the best thing out there.
