Tanks are pretty much a matter of personal preference.

I've thought of using buggy tanks also because of the convienence of the flip-top lid for fueling or cleaning...but they are plastic tanks and are prone to splitting or breaking over time.

One thing I like about boats is if you build them nice they stay nice for the most part, unlike other RC stuff so I usually go for looks where I can.

If the tank is going to stay where you see it, then I prefer it to be asthetically pleasing, so I use brass tanks instead...staying with the mahogany and brass look.

Acme has some nice tanks, and I've purchased a couple...very nice quality, here's the link if your interested. The largest they have however is only about 6 ounces, but a saddle tank setup can be used if you want. One tank on each side of the motor wouldn't look too bad, and actually would balance better than one large tank would depending where you put it.

That tank might be for gas and that would make the tubing incompatible with nitro fuel.
