So far this is what i have, a wavechopper 30 with a thunder tiger pro 21 outboard. i cut the stock exhaust and am putting a custom pipe/exhaust..... but i have one problem, so far its pretty much close to being done. the engine i guess weighs a tad bit too much and the water reaches pretty high, more or less where the header is. does it matter as long as it floats well??? because i think when it planes out it should be ok... but when the boat is still the water is a little high (boat is brand new and has never been ran). if i push the nose down about a half in then it seems better.. should i leave it like that if it floats well, or should i add lead to the front, or anyone have any ideas? im new to this. any help is greatly appreciated! thank you for any help.

The problem is that you have a lot of engine sitting on not enough boat. That hull was made for electric and smaller engine power. Having the exhaust in the water is no big deal as most OB's are that way.
