*My top speed 2 hull, with custom engine* pics*(now has rossi, not tt anymore)
hey guys.... so far this is my top speed 2.... it runs really nice. i am currently running it with a thunder tiger pro-21R outboard. i cut the stock exhaust with a dremel, cut a header, and put a pipe all together and got this.... tell me what you guys think. im running it on 40% nitro with hot spark plugs. i ran the boat against a buddy that clocked at 48mph, and i stay right on him, so i calculate around low 40's. isnt bad for a TT engine. i will be cutting the sleeves to 180 degrees on the exhaust port for higher rpms, and got custom head buttons which make less headspace for more compression. boat should run upper 40's, and in the 50's when i add the last mods possible for TT engines. i would like to hear opinions from everyone, please.
here are the pics:

i have a buddy that has your same setup, his runs around the same speed as mine. if you perfect your setup ( engine heigt and all that stuff) u can probly get it going pretty fast. i still havent gotten the height right yet, but once i do i plan on being fast... plus i have plenty of upgrades im doing. my boat will hit the 50 mark soon. im prepearing for a local race the 24th and 25th. and i also plan on upgrading to a rossi engine on a lawless lower unit. nice boat though.

i am waiting on engine part's for mine. i spun the prop shaft assembly. i was running it and is started to bogged down so i tried to tune it and it did not work so i tried to start all over like three times (with the needle settings) and it still did not work then i through it in and brought it back and put it on the stand and my friend grabbed the prop and was turning it and said is it suppost to be this hard to turn it so i grabbed it and tried and it was binding bad so took the prop shaft assembly off and the flex shaft came out with it so i looked and the prop shaft assembly rounded out in side so instead of it being square to square it was square to diamond but one of the times i through it in with it binding it was clocked at 28 mph it had like three time as much force on the engine then normal

what engine are you running on it?..... these hulls run really nice, they are pretty fast, but if you dont balance them well they will bounce like crazy.

should run nice then, as everyone knows thunder tiger engines are the slowest, but i can take stock k&b outboards.... people under estimate my engine, and i am currently modifying the sleeve, head button, and crank shaft, it should be way faster when im done with it.

i cut the exhuast port at 180 degrees all the way around, it boosts rpms by alot. and the engines do not overheat. also with the head button, i get it milled down and it cuts the heaspace in half, giving the engine more compression, therefore more power. i know a guy that been helping me alot with all this stuff, and his boat does 50+ mph with a thunder tiger engine... (and thunder tiger is the slowest outboard you can buy.

nice guys. I am thinking of getting this boat also. What do you all think of it? I mean does it handle on rails? WHere is a good source to get it? Where is a godo source for motors online? I am in need of his stuff, and this will be my first RC boat. I know, many are probably saying godo god, you can run that for a first rc boat, but im sure I can handle it. Thanks guys in advance!

Hey RCFreak, how's goin with ur ts2?
at last i did my break -in today run bout 5 tanks with really rich set-up, bounce a little when slowing but will vanish as soon as it accelerate, turn in a dime, i noticed OS xm can dissipate heat pretty good coz engine temp will stuck in 80oF with water temp. here is 45oF, tried detaching water pick-up it goes to 100oF though not an ideal engine temp. but it's all right i'll wait till get warmer so i can tune it...my problem is i need a bigger pond coz this ts2 is fast i can't enjoy the speed if i'll run it in the pond where i used to play my nitro hammer....more to come...

This will be the next hull I get. I am currently bidding on a boat and hope I win it. It will be my first boat and I'm looking to enjoy this thing also! Cant wait to get some more extra cash lined up, so i can get this TS2 hull, from what I hear, they made a HUGE improvement over the ts. I heard the TS were JUNK!!!!

so far its running good. but i now just bought a rossi outboard and will be using it over my tt outboard because it weighs less, and has more power, and i finally got rid of the bouncing problem i had.... the engine was slightly too high. but now it runs really good, and alot faster than i expected.

well, i finally got the rossi, and i bought a k&b lower unit.. i cut it and put a irwin j-pipe on it, i still havent put it in the water, but engine is brand new, has a crazy amount of compression, and sounds really nice. as soon as i can i will put it in the water.. here are some pics...

RE: *My top speed 2 hull, with custom engine* pics*(now has rossi, not tt anymore)
i still have to run it, i will let you guys know, but i bought the rossi on ebay for $164 with a lower drive unit. everything is unused it all came in its sealed box. the header i got it from Jerry wyss. i have a k&b lower on the rossi that i took from a k&b outboard that i bought for 50 bucks on ebay. the k&b outboard worked fine and had good compression, but im not a fan of those engines, so i took the k&b lower, cut it with a dremel and put it on the rossi. so now i have a k&b powerhead, a TT powerhead and a complete tt outboard laying around.... but i hope getting the rossi pays off.
