Default What radio should I get???

I need a new radio for my atlas van lines boat. I want to get a pistol grip radio, I'm not sure what's good and what's not.. THe hobby store had one that was like $42 with tx reciever and 2 servos but I though tthat was kinda cheap to have any sort of quality to it. I'm looking for somehting under like $80 that comes with 2 servos and the whole works, maybe a digital screen.. I want this to be something that I can run a few different boats/cars off.

I've got a rule of thumb that I took from an old Bell helmets ad, "If you've got a $10.00 head, get a $10.00 helmet". This was back when you could buy a $10.00 helmet but you might get the idea. To translate it, if you're going to spend serious money on a good boat, don't cheap out on the radio system.

Okay Poorkid, let me rephrase the question, does your boat have a front wing or no? The 36" has a solid front, the 43" has a wing between the cockpit walls and the sponsons. When you said it has a .46, I'm thinking you have the small one.
