hi all must i fit a brass bushing into the d/tube as it exits the transom on the WILD THING also must it be 2inches/50mm from the transom ? [sm=confused.gif] . or the prop 2inches/50mm from the transom ????????????[sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif

I did a little experiment in trying to make one up like what is used in the Wild Thing. I slipped one tube inside the other but the short section of tubing I put diagonal slots in it to hold grease like what Speedmaster is now seilling for his struts. A little flare at the outside will help if and when it needs to be removed.
I'm guessing that the tube needs to stick out of the transom 2 inches.
