Default New to gas rc with questions about where to get parts for ASP engines.

My son and I recently purchased a RTR Tiger Shark boat with a A. S. P. 15M engine. He is 12 and wanted to start the engine for the breakin and he BROKE the pull start. I am now trying to locate on with no success. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I can't make any promises but a lot of engine manufacturers do use the same recoil starter. Check aorund at any hobby shops nearby and you might just find one that will bolt right on.
If you want to get fancy, look at the Tiger Drive made by www.sullivanproducts.com .

Where did you buy the boat from? One of the places I found it, "World Trading 23" says the boat comes with a 6 month warranty. http://www.worldtrading23.com/details.asp?sku=J8801-21

That looks almost like a pull-starter from a Dynamite engine among others.
