Default Water Cooled Nitro Engines

Im new to rc boating and im planning on buying a nitro powered boat and i was wondering if i could use it in a large swimming pool and if the water cooling system puts any oil or gas into the water?

Short answers...: no and not really.... Just about any nitro powered boat will be too fast for even a large pool (unless maybe a 1/2A size engine, like a .049). The cooling system won't add anything to the water, but oil will come out of the exhaust.

oldlugs is right all the way, if that is the only place you have to run one you might try a small electric but not as fun!

Not really. The oil sort of sprays out with the exhaust gasses. You would be better off running an electric in the pool and a nitro boat ot a lager site.
