is there any stock nitro boats that go 60mph out of the box? i dont think there is. but my friend tells me there are. thanks alot

Maybe he was talking about here www.insaneboats.com. The guy sets them up like his heat racing boats, Which hold records.

He's been looking on eBay, hasn't he! There is one boat being pushed on there that is advertised as being able to run 55-65 MPH out of the box but if you really read the ads, it says that the HULL is capable of going that speed but it doesn't say that it will hit those speeds with that clunker engine on it.
I'd get your $5.00 back as those barges will only go about 17 MPH.
You can buy boats that are capable of speeds higher than that if you want to spend the money already built but I wouldn't consider them mass-produced boats. The Brown brothers at Competiton Marine Design will sell you one almost ready to float but you'll pay dearly got one of theirs.
