Default Dumas Hotshot Sprint instructions???

I just received my Dumas Hotshot Sprint 3.5 kit (wood). There are no instructions only two sheets of plans. Can anyone tell me where I can find the instuctions... this is my first boat build, can't wait.
Thank You

Try calling Dumas and ask for the instructions.

Kevin, here's a hint for a quicker build on the wood Sprint. Once the frame is built, fill the spoon / center section with foam, not the spray stuff either. Once the glue is cured (foam to wood), sand the foam to shape.. Then just cover with the top/bottom sheets. It's quicker and fills all the gaps with flotation, and don't need to mess with those 1/4 rails either... Mine was radar'd at 46.3 with a K&B SS, c/b x1440 prop.

Regular white foam or something like railroad scenery foam?

The foam I use is the pink or gray insulation foam used in home construction.

Yeah, Jerry gets a big cut of our RCU paychecks. Let's see, what is 30% of nothing?

2" pink foam from Home Depot is what I use to build my WOF boats. Can't find the gray anymore around here.

I think that Lowe's carries the blue foam. If you know of a housing construction site you might be able to do some dumpster diving to get the foam that you need. I bought a 4' x 8' x 2" sheet for around $25.00 but that much would make a LOT of boats. I had to cut it in half just to get it down my basement stairs as the steps do a 90 degree turn half-way down.

The blue foam I've seen is only 1/2" thick.. Great for thin stuff, but not much help for spoons...
