Default .18 TZ MARINE HEAD

Does anyone know if the head from a .18 os marine motor will fit on a .18 tz? I want to buy the tz for my rigger, but don't want it air cooled.

It should be a bolt-on.
Myself, I like the heat sink heads when I use them, no plumbing to run and it can be cut down as they get plenty of air because they are well exposed unlike being under a Lexan body.

I used that same head and all I had to do was open the holes up as the head on the tz used larger bolts.

Aren't all the TZ motors turbo heads? Would you be changing the compression with the marine head? I don't know, but I'm interested.

I used the O.S. .18 marine head (black) on my TZ but found that in addition to opening up the bolt holes I also had to mill the underside of the head because the outer ring of the head bottomed out on the crankcase cooling fin before the head was seated on the sleeve. I took this area down even with the area that the shims seat on. It seems to work fine. The O.S. .18 engine has the top cooling fin lower than the top of the sleeve so there is no conflict.
