I was wondering if anyone knew what class a thundercat 31 would be in, and a the new .09 rigger? I would like to try and race them if they work
Thanks Paul
p.s. I have looked at the rule books and Its not that easy to figure out. I know alot of the racers know the classes like the back of there hands. Thanks again.

Welcome. Also note that the December Roostertail should have an article that includes sample rules for an RTR class. The rules intentionally don't include displacements. This would leave clubs free to group boats of similar speeds together, or to form single boat classes, such as for the TC31, Miss Vegas, etc.

My bad, I should have provided a link. For anyone else interested in reading the IMPBA roostertails, but has not already found them, go to their web site http://www.impba.net/ and click on the Roostertail link on the left. In addition to IMPBA news, they quite often contain technical articles. For example, if you go back a few issues, there are a few excellent articles on mono tuning by John Finch, one of the boating gods.
