WHERE DO YOU INSTAL THE PRESURE TAP ON A TUNED PIPE I AM RUNNING A K&B 67 WITH A OPS MUFFLED PIPE IN A 38 INCH OUTRIGGER

Mine is 7/8" - 1" after the expansion chamber towards the tip.
I've got a 7.5 K&B inboard, tuned pipe, rigger setup.

Most people recommend placing them slightly BEFORE the widest part of the pipe. There is a good writeup and description on the Macs site: http://www.macspro.com/pressure.asp .

the tap on my MAC's nitro pipe is very low on the pipe, toward the header. Have never had a pressure issue with it being there..have always been able to feed pleanty of fuel to the carb on both my K&B .67 and OPS .65.
