Hi Guys,

Firstly, thanks for your help guys throughout the year with various questions etc that I have had, and I hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas and New Years.

I was just wondering if anybody has or knows of a good site for making your own Nitro fuel. I have access to the raw ingredients but need to know the receipt and or methods for blending your own.


If I can save money by making my own fuel then it will leave more money for other go fast bits

If you scroll way up in the drop-down menu, we have a good Fuel forum up there. Brian "Fuelman" Cooper knows his stuff about making fuel, I've had the pleasure to meet him at a SAW event.

Making your own fuel is easy. A typical mix would be 15ish% oil, maybe 30% nitro and the rest methanol. Different brands of oils tend to make a fair bit of difference as to how your engine runs.
