Hi I'am new to this rc boating. I have a Aquacraft Top Speed 2 and would like to no what a good prop would be? One that would get me more speed! And can you buy them already sharped and balanced? And if so where? Thanks

There are several good choices. I've actually had good results with a Prather 215, but others say it's not a good choice. At the end of the season I was running a 1440 (cut and cupped) that I got from Mark Sholund at http://www.props4u.com/ . He does a great job sharpening and balancing props.

I've been running a balanced/sharpened Octura M440 w/O.S. Max 21 OB and that works very well.

Jerry, what kind of speed will your setup run?

On radar, I've seen 47/48 mph with a TS2, O.S. 21, 65% fuel, and a reworked X442. This was on a perfect day for speed runs and the boat was running very free.

Thanks, so I assume low 40's would be a good all around number.
