Default NOW IM PIST OFF

[sm=punching.gif] 4 WEEKS AGO I ORDERED A MISS VEGAS, THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE 3 WEEKS 4 THEM TO GET IT IN STOCK, SO LAST WEEK I RANG THEM AND THEY TOLD ME ITS ON ITS WAY AND IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE HERE THIS WEEK. SO I RING THEM UP TODAY TO C WHERE IT IS AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WILL BE ANOTHER MONTH. I AM SO ANNOYED, THEY KNEW ALL ALONG THAT THE SUPPLIER HAD NONE IN STOCK, AND WASNT GETTING ANY TILL NEXT YEAR, GGGGGGGRRRRRR, SO I TOLD THEM WHERE TO GO!!!!! NOW ALL I CAN GET FOR THE HOLIDAYS IS EITHER A HAMMER OR A AQUAJET, I AM SO MAD, I COULD HAVE GTO ONE OF THEM BOATS MONTHS AGO!!!

If you paid with a cc, stop the payment. Think about it, they get 100 people to pay, use their money for a month, earning interest, don't deliver, then you get your money back. Free loan to them.

Excellent point teebox11, this is a trick a lot of businesses use. Either they refund the money after they've built interest and a higher level of credit off it OR they finally stock their warehouse, fill their orders and you get your product a month late or even later. Amazing how much 20 bucks adds up to when 30,000 people send it to you.

Hyper if you have anymore issues pm me and I will give you my number. I know a few guys here in Melbourne that can sought you out for bits without the stress of dealing with LHS. Lets face it your average LHS in Oz can't or won't help you with boats.

To be honest honest with you I do but it has been neglected of late due to the seaducer 20, Seaducer 40, Sports 40, and now the Gas Mono...see the picture below What can I say I was testing spray paint on it

I have the tuned exhaust pipe that I bought from offshoreelectrics. If you want this you can have it. pm me for mates rates. As far as props...I broke mine on a rock a few months ago and it hasn't been touched since.

You might have been better off waiting as the revised version is on it's way! I can understand your frustration as it's beginning to get warm Down Under while some of us up here are freezing our tails off.

Without getting too political, the delays are the way of the world now. Things that are made offshore end up taking much longer simply due to the length of time it takes to get here. Trying to anticipate exactly the right time to place an order to keep products in stock must be a nightmare. This must be particularly true when a product ends up being more popular than anticipated. The juggling act between out of stock and over ordering can't be for the faint of heart...

I think that the U-18 Miss Vegas COULD be produced quite a bit faster then what it is. I also think that seller's who profit thru means of delay are not business sauvy and could use an extreme lesson in ethics. pushing an item which is already known to be in a "delayed production" is down right ludicrist, immoral, and unethical. It would only serve to piss people off when there is no real need. Except maybe for the creator needing money to improve product. While it may serve a business well to use customers money for profit.....I think that person should be shot and asked questions later!

Well Kyle, you have to look at itt this way, Aquacraft has probably sold a lot more than what they expected to. Usually their promises of delivery dates have been ahead of schedule.
I could name another major player in the R/C boat market that had prototypes out for a couple of years and showing them on their site and at trade shows but took a long time ot get them to market. Excuses galore and lots of people pissed off that had pre=paid for their boats or had placed deposits on them. What they eventually got was a huge disappointment that was over-priced and poor on performance for the high cost.
No, I won't mention the name of the company but those who have been on this site for a while will know who it is.

They are all over EBAY. My wife bought mine brand new 279.00 with free shipping not even 2 weeks before Christmas. Not sure why you are having so much trouble.

Here is one today. They are charging shipping though. Good Luck.

There were probably some sitting on shelves at a lot of hobby shops also.
I wouldn't say "all over eBay" as I haven't seen too many of them on there, a lot of the other brand though.
No, I can't really explain it any more than others in here. Russ hasn't replied in here as he'd know a lot more than the rest of us.

the problem with that is that alot of US sellers wont ship to Australia, and if they do if costs a fortune

I've got 2 local hobby shops that will ship world-wide but yes, the shipping alone is really expensive.
