Great engines, even the old ones with steel flywheels.. Stick it in a boat, and run it stock, before you modify.

I've got a blue head version in my Microburst. The needle is touchy so once you have it adjusted, only richen or lean it out just a little as it is sensitive.

Beleive it or not the boat in the pics is a Dumas Eagle sport40 heavily modified radio box is behind the engine. The rear points these hulls came out with I rermoved. I also built my own motor mount and left the sides open where the fuel tanks are installed along side of the engine I bought the boat all assembled with out motor and radio gear Last year i ran it with a k&b 7.5 The K&B didn't seem to have enogh power though So I went to this Picco P-45 this year hopefully It will prove to be a great engine Boat is also set up with the 3rd channel servo but I don't have the needle in 3rd channel needle in it. The carb is still stock and has the needle in it any suggestions on how to change this is welcome thank you

I don't know which carb that you have. Mine already is set up for a remote needle but am not using it.
