Newbie Looking For Help??
Hi,
I am looking for some help, I would like to enter the RC Boat market and was wondering what would be a good starting point??
I like the look of the Kyosho Lamborghini boat, but I am wondering if this is a good starting point......
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks for anyone who can offer some assistance.

The top 3 posts regarding RTR boats on this site are the Shockwave 36, the Thundercat, and the Miss Vegas. You might want to look at those posts for some ideas.

RE: Newbie Looking For Help??
i would go with the shockwave 36 it is a deep v hull or the thundercat it is a cat hull these hulls are more forgiving and can run in rougher water

i have a thunder cat 31, you will love the boat, its is fairly quick easy to maintain well built and looks good.
the Thunder cat 31 will be a little easier to set up then the shockwave 36, becasue on the shcokwave 36 you have to the tabs set just right, or atleast fiddle with them, the thunder cat 31 all you have to do is throw some gas and batteries in it start it up and throw it in the water and your good to go (dont forget to break the engine in first )
i have never driven the shockwave so im going on what i have read about the boat

RCBM did an article on the Lambo boat and it was one that they had problems giving a good review of.
For a RTR boat, I'm seriously looking the the new Super-Vee 27 Nitro.
It will depend on several things, what hull design that you like and how much that you want to spend.
