She up and moving alittle bit today!!! But We got a big prob!!! Got a phone call from her mom and told me that her friend and cousin was among the 33 dead in the Virginia Tech shooting!!I havent told her this news yet!I told her mom we should wait until she gets home?I'd told the doctors and nurses dont say anything about this yet! This is going to hurt her badly big time!!

She dont have a TV in her room yet!! I'd told her friends and other people that know she's in the hospital and the prob and they wont say anything.But this sucks big time!!! I hate to be the bad messagener eather!![:@]I want to see her out of the hospital soon but this would be a very bad set back!!! When she hit her lows she hits lows big time!![] I'm taking two weeks off of work too,just in case.

I was hoping that the two of you would be coming up for the Fun Run but she may be too sore to travel this far. It takes a long time for ribs to heal. I know, I've been there.

They say bad things happen in threes. Since all of the bad happened at once, lets hope the good starts to take over. I agree as well, don't tell her about the other two until she is strong enough to handle the news. You might even want to see if her family can let her know or at least be there when she finds out. Just a thought.

A fun run is an informal get together of(in this case) R/C boaters. The idea is to trade setup/modification ideas, learn new things, meet other boaters, run the boats and have fun. If I wasn't almost 3000 miles away, I would probably be there myself

I've gotten some PM's asking if there is any way that some of us can send her a Get Well card. I know that my local hospitals can give patients e-mailed cards. If not, let her know that there are a bunch of the guys on the site concerned for her and will be here for her when she's back home.

Now we've got to get you one! She's mentioned to me that you're more into the 4-wheelers but we might be able to make a convert out of you. Part of it is the great people that we do have in here. A lot of the members in here are more like an extended family and things like this help to bring the "family" together.

Well I'm going to go home and go to bed.I hate to say this But a little voice in my head is telling me to tell her the bad new tomarrow!But I'll have her mom on the phone when we tell her this news!Wish me luck guys.And I hope she can take this news. Also just found out on the news the the families wont get there loved one bodys back until 5-7 days or more! Not very cool!
