aqua 18 wont idle any more
my vegas aqua 18 engine wont idle any more[:@], and if it did it will run perfect for a couple of turns and then will start loosing acceleration specialy when going straight and the engines dies emedietly after releasing the accelerator.. it started acting that way two days ago before and after replacing the plug (currently using 0s#8). also too much dirt out of the engine's pull starter...

You might want to remove the carb from the engine and blow WD 40 through all the fuel intakes.
The low speed needle-valve may need to be opened to allow more fuel flow at low speed.

Check your tuned pipe coupler. If it is leaking (has a hole, or is not sealed well on the header/pipe) then you are running leaner than you were earlier due to a loss of back pressure...

Had that proublem with my Brothers Miss Bud with the aquacraft.18. I'd had gunk in the carb!! Blown it out!! Check your carb fuel inlet plus the jet needle and clean it out.I bet It will run then!!

these are are two things im going to do today: first i'm not only going to check the pipe coupler as Sean suggested, but im going to change it to something better any way to remove suspicion any way. will also clean up the carb as misshydro also suggested and give it another run today.. plus i'm done with pull start engines

well sometimes i pull and pull and pull without any response giving me a work out that i didnt want at that time plus all that dirt that started commimg out of it while pulling

Is this when your motor is acting up? If so Like I'd said before you got dirt or gunk in your carb jet needle! I'd had that same proublem hard starts runs for 5 seconds then quit!![:@]

Dirt comes out of your starter? Sounds like to me you might of recked the oneway bearing?Do you have metal shavings comming out of it?The oneway bearing are crome plated bearings needles and after time the crome will flake off. My .21 O.S bearing did that too on my .21 LEO.

thats excactly what i'm going through. but i swear that it will be the deepest end of the lake for it if it doesnt act right after i clean it up[:@]

That bearing is shot!! replace that. Oh nitro Ahmed I'm going to start a new vegas for us newbes by this weekend!! I'll do some resurch on what mods work and my own mod too. This thread is for the new Miss vegas 2 update version.Plus maybe we'll walk& talk threw on converting to.21s? Who's knows?

you'll see me there alright, coz you see i've already ordered some parts form TLR and refused to touch any thing in my vegas untill i try the parts one at a time, so i'll be able to tell which part did the real difference to the boat so i hope that i'll posting a lot there.also would post about the conversion to 21 which i'm planning on doing soon after i'm done with the mod parts that are on the way..good idea Misshaydro
