So will I see a decent performance increase, all other things equal, with the Macs pipe? If not, maybe I should stick with the stock pipe and spend my money elsewhere.
Thanks again.

I myself can't say, I use a macs pipe on a different boat and I just know I needed to quiet it down. I think Sean Bowf is using a macs pipe on his and I did see a person running at the races yesterday with a macs pipe so I would guess there is a little improvement, but I cant say for sure. Sorry wish I could help more.

RE: New Miss Vegas 2 thread,to make her better and faster.
hey guys,
all done with fitting the O.S. .21 VZ-M engine on my miss vegas, but really lousy finishing which i happen to be famouse for, also had to make the carb face the other way so i could attach the throtle servo since it is stock radio box, or you could also say that i was too lazy to even re arrange everything in the radio box, any way it's all good, break in was done but on the stand itself with water pipe connected to an electric fuel pump and a nice big fan blowing on the engine. the engine sounds excellent, so tomorrow will be it's first run on water, wish me luck.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
really wanted to post the pics of the engine sitting on the boat, but i lost my card reader

Hey MissHydro!
I was checking out the mods to your Vegas and really liked the idea of cutting the wholes out on the cowl for more airflow and the wing layout.
How much modification did you do for the wing (is it just a simple measure, drill, and screw?) and what benefit does it provide versus keeping the original set up?
Last question. I liked the tubing you have coming out of the cowl's end, is that found at the LHS? I saw other boats in the threads with similar tubing protruding. I'm not a "biter" ("thief" - Cali lingo) but I know a good idea when I see one! Plus it gives a more realistic look!

I'd set the tail fins up the the F18 super hornet,There other jet with at tail fin set up like the joint strike fighter and the F22 Raptor and F15 eagel!! Hay those tail desighn must work for them.Plus I'm running the horizonal wing too. heres pics of two different desighns I'm thinking about!! The turbin tube is alum/tin peice that I'd cut to put it on. My tail fins I can unbolt to run stock tail fins set up with horizonal wing. That four looks that my boat can sport. The horizonal wing one is like the DC10 and the other is strait accross the back.I'd made temps out of carbord to see what they might look like.I'm going with second pics-DC 10 horizonal wing!

Yeah I like the 2nd one 2! I'm going to go out and try to find a tin piece I can use to set my turbine off. I really dig that. The wing set is hot too. It sounds like most of the mods you do come up how the ones for my RC cars do. Want something new and exciting, use the imagination! Thanks talk back soon! Can't run because it's been raining. Did my 6 tank break-in in a small blow up pool. The boat sounds great, can't wait to let it loose!

The tail fin tabs I have an idea for them when I'm not using them. I'm going to make a part that fits over them. The part/adabler with have weapons on them. The out side will have torpod and the inside will have missel and the top will have maybe 50 cal meachine guns or tank guns on it.!!.So I can sink the competition!!LOL!!LOL!!LOL!! Just kidding!! I said this looks like a jet but on water. So I'll put weapons on it. I didnt run her today.[] I had something else to do.

RE: New Miss Vegas 2 thread,to make her better and faster.
hi,
went yesterday to try that engine, man did it fly, but not for long coz i have to tune it up, very rich at the moment, very unstable acceleration and not reaching full rpm you can hear it in the vid below,
sorry but the pics and vid are very poor, camera ran out of battery, had to use my mobile phone's camera and drive at the same time...better vids and performance very soon
today will be tuning day
http://media.putfile.com/Miss-Vegas-...runout-of-tune
ps: i'm running on stock prop, rudder, pipe and bottom of hull still untouched or moded. still waiting for my mod parts to arrive, then will you get to see the true difference

Nitro,
Just be careful, the stock prop is too small for the TZ 21, underproping can create some serious problems.

RE: New Miss Vegas 2 thread,to make her better and faster.
well i'm being carefull with it, not giving it full throtle for starters, i dont know if that helps, the 21 VZ-M is a serious engine, what kind of problems am i looking at if i keep using stock prop? my x435/3 prop hasn't arrived yet, so i dont have much of a choise, i have a prather 215 prop, but it is not sharpened or balanced, will that be much of a problem too?
thanks
thanks

honestly you should of upgraded your drive train to a bigger flex cable with a 3/16 shaft.you will find that that motor is too much and start snapping the flex cables.needs a bigger prop than if you were running the stock or cvr in it

Thanks for the posted pics! now I know which header would work on my thundertiger motor when I drop it in. Going to try to run her today!!! Toyota I'm not going nuts on the tail fins but something different. In a race you can spot out my boat very easly.
