Default Flexdrive system on MV V1

I lost my .150 flexdrive for my v1 vegas. I was wondering if the original flexdrive which is .125 is strong enough for the os cvrm? I have not used the .125 on metal props just the plastic prop that came with the boat. Also does anyone know where I can get a better collet for the .125. or better yet where to get the .150 flex. I checked everywhere and everyone says they do not have .150 with the proper size propshaft for my vegas other than tlr. I even tried the aqua version of the .150 but flexcable to short and prop shaft to big. what other options do I have?[]

Octura makes a collet that fits the original size shaft. The part number is in the Miss Vegas thread.

I think TLR makes the flexshaft you are asking for. Personally, if it was my boat, I would mod it so it could take the normal 150 cable.

Octura makes a 150 coupler with m5 threads. I think it is part number ocfh5mm15.

130 should be ocfh5mm13

Avenge,

Did you do somekind of update to your V1.. All V1s had .125 cables... In my opinion the .125 cable is not strong enoght for the CVM..hence the reasion for the update to .150 on the V2.

I did have the one from tlr. But I just did not want to wait long for one. I think I will just have to order from tlr since no one else makes this setup. eventually I will mod my vegas to accept different strut system.[]
