Default got my new boat

Well i picked up a shockwave 36 Yesterday.

Today im ganna buy some nitro and a glo plug and start her up.

Im ganna dry dock it in a tub o water.

Couple questions

What glo driver should i buy?

And will running it in a pool hurt it?

take it down to the lake I believe the engin will brake in better and will not run into something.I think mine is pretty fast for a ready to run. Make shure you put some grease on the flex saft.

Ok, first of all, if you run it in a tub, without it actually moving thru the water, youll overheat the engine because no water is going thru the cooling system.

Glow drivers....[link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0093p?&C=PDB[/link]

Grease...[link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMPH8&P=ML[/link] or [link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDR02&P=7[/link]

Also, NEVER rev the engine on the stand for very long, youll drop the rod I learned that the hard way.

I would read [link]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_2353104/tm.htm[/link]. And also go thru and loctite anything that has threads into metal. Use the blue not the red.

when i first started mine (my first nitro too) is scared the **** out of me as well.....i wasnt expecting it to rev up as high as it did....i shut it down and my legs were shaking....since then though i only got it to run good once....the second i leaned out the needle a little, it ran like crap...leaned it out more, still the same....went back to origional settings and it still ran bad.....after that i just got problem after problem....every time i ran it a new problem arose....i eventually got fed up w/ it and converted it to electric...i hope your experiences are different and that yours runs great.....good luck...

Try not to0 run out of fuel!!!!!! the engine is leaning out and will cause catastrofic damage sooner or later. use a timer or count laps again do not run your boat till it runs out of fuel!!!!
