Default tc31 turning right under full throttle...

Why is this? Prop walk? Between idle and half speed, it tracks straight. When she gets moving, it starts turning to the right. Not sharply, but I have to give it about half left rudder to go straight. What's the deal?? I am using the TLR inline rudder, and an upgraded steering servo.

I have never driven a TC31...but as a general question, how sharp is your prop?? The more dull it is, the worse the prop walk will be.

My rigger has real bad propwalk. When I slow down to bring it in, it is a little squirrely because I have it trimmed out to run straight at full throttle. My point is that some propwalk is normal under certain circumstances.

You normally adjust to counter the effect of the prop walk for the speed you will be running which normally is WOT.

Like Sean said check your prop and make sure it is balanced and sharp.

Adjust your steering using your steering trim, if you have to max out your trim in any direction to counter the effect than you have something else creating or helping with the walk, check any turn fin, trim tabs that may be damage or not true.

My tc31 was like that all the time too, I just adjusted the steering trim and lived with it pulling a left while going slow.

Yea, I have my steering set so that it pulls to to the left slightly on full speed runs to counteract the prop walk. It is just something I have become accustomed to. I have it set in this manner so that I can minimize the chine walk the boat experiences when given right hand rudder down the straights.
