Default Clearcoating Nitro Boat

I need to clear coat a boat that was painted with automotive paint( I don't know which kind). Is there a certain type that will be at least somewhat fuel proof?

Default RE: Clearcoating Nitro Boat

You can use urothane clear!! they can take the nitro and gas being spilled on them with out harming them, PPG or Dupont!![8D] But I use Martinsenior paints that is sold at your local NAPA stores,It cost way less then PPG or Dupont paints!![X(] I use the Crossfire system that is made by martinsenior!! I'd use that system for 14 years now with no proublems!!! I try to post my boat and you can see the finish on it.
