It doesn't look that bad, decent speed and handling.
One thing that I seriously would look at though is the buyer agreement. Basically it's telling you once you've gotten it, you're stuck with it.

OK, first off, a little history lesson. The Arrow Shark mono's are splashes of the Delta Force hulls which have proven themselves in NAVIGA competition. I've seen complaints about how poorly the engine rails were mounted so those may have to be reinforced.
The exhaust system is a muffler, not a tuned pipe so there's another thing to do to get some more speed out of them.
I'd rather hear the boat runnning instead of listening to Madonna.

Yeah, I've got kind of a "collection" of things myself.

I know nothing of the brand of boat...but with a .25 engine, if you ever chose to run either of them in a race, you would be forced to run in the .45 class...since the .25 engines are larger than .21.

Also, the pipe in them looks too long to be tuned. I am guessing it is more of a muffler than a tuned pipe.

Nice avatar Ron

I just saw Seans post to race this boat atleast in IMPBA it will run in a Hydro class ( that means against riggers) or a open offshore cat class, there is no nitro cat class that I know of ( but I could be wrong for sure).

Like I said on the first post 'sport boat' i have .45 monos that i race i want one for weekend fun because getting my big ones out to run is too much trouble and i can reinforce the engine rails no problem. Just how good do think this would run with a macs pipe (the mono) or the cat i know the cat would be faster but i like to take my real boat out to the sandbar and run rc's (the dogs love to chase them) so i need something that is stable...the hardware looks nice!

If you can get it locally, great. You do two things then, save some money on shipping charges and you help the LHS to stay in business as he can get them wholesale.
Try talking him into becoming a US dealer as I think that people would rather buy from someone here in the States.
I like the looks over the mono over the Cat. The stars and stripes mixed with the checkerboard is overkill.

I am getting it locally, and good news it looks like he might land a dealer contract with these guys i will really dodge the $80 shipping bullet and the mono is definately mine! i will get it and tell you how it runs my local hobby shop needs the help it went out of business in 2005 and has been under new ownership since then the guy who runs it is really nice and has been rc boating for 20 yrs.! he thinks this is a good deal on a nice boat he is familiar with the engine he said on %30 nitro it will last a good 6-7 years which is great! obviously depending on how much you run it i'm probably going to drop one of these babys in it:

that will squeeze out some juice!

I'm still wondering what radio i should use any suggestions i'm on a $360 budget NOT including shipping charges so the boat eats up $325 of it, but what of a radio...range is no big deal if i can get a good 400ft. range its fine even smaller...range i don't care.

Just about every radio manufacturer makes a low-dollar system that would do.

Good luck finding a radio and servos for $35. I would try and find a better radio so you have a little better control of your boat/engine, end point settings are very nice.

I remember in the 90's when all we had was futaba am's junior am's etc. And they always worked flawlessly while todays pcm's etc. didn't work at all. You can pick up those older am's for 10-30 bucks, put a failsafe onit. And I don't see why it wouldn't work. You just won't have any lcd's or bells and whissels. And the futaba magnum junior had all the end point adjustments too.
Also that boat looks like a great entry level sportboat with plenty of speed and handling for a begginer/sportboater with more speed easily attainable with a good pipe!

I have seen alot of jr xs3's going complete for 60bucks! That would make a great radio for this setup.

Also that am futaba above for 50bucks would be a good way to go 2

I dont see why it wouldn't I would make sure you have a failsafe, I believe everyone prettymuch uses venom's. I heard the futaba's and another don't always work.

No i actually bought a larger antenna for it and it gained a little range the stock antenna, as with all futaba antennas fell apart thats the only thing i can complain about on their radios.

Default RE: is this any good?

The receiver antenna is 28" long its supposed to be used as a range upgrade for a tc31 or sw36 but it still has no range and it doesn't have it's own batterys it is on a BEC (battery eliminator circuit) which means that a small amount of current is siphened off the main battery and given to the receiver to power it one drawback to that is if you have to come in from long range on low power your servo has brely enough torque to turn the rudder and your at risk of going out of range so maybe this thing is just a piece of junk[]
