I am going to teart it down this winter and want to coat the inside of the hull to seal it up from fuel. What has anybody used? I am also going to replace the radio, servos, and batterys (rechargeable pack). Should I reinforce the stringers and with what?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thank You
Brian

From the sound of it you have had feul through the boat which means you've had feul in the boat which means that you are in for a fun experience. When the feul gets on the hull it makes the resin oily which (unless you remove it with great effort) means that wht ever you want to apply to the hull will not stick. I have used a degreaser used by our local transformer manufacturer to clean transformers from oil with varied success. But basicaly your stuffed. Iff you read the TC31 thread youl notice most people coat their boats once they get them. GOOD Luck.

i used MAS epoxy coating inside the hull,,the stringer will be more stronger after coating it,, IMO doesn't need to be reinforced..i have .46 engine on it and i don't see any stress on stringer.
