we have some big rivers but theyre very tidal as im right near the coastline
would be to scared of loosing the boat as the water flows to fast if the engine stopped!! lol

having said that i went to the pond today to try my new electric airboat and it was frozen over!
so i went and stopped by one of the big drains near me and sent it out for a run
the vids are in the AIRBOAT section under 3(4)pointer depron airboat if you fancy a look
not up to your boat speed but fun to drive though!

Ill have a look. I once made an airboat with an old enya .40 but I didnt build it wide enough. I putted out and as soon as I wacked into it it did a cork screw and landed upside down[] I then added sponsons to each side and it worked ok. It was really cool on the ice. The thing would turn around on its own tracks.
