OS TZ18 Discontinued!
I went to buy the OS TZ 18 today only to see that it is discontinued! I finally saved up enough money to buy the engine I designed the FF18 for and is no longer available. Man am I bummed out. Now what? []

Try area hobby shops! I've got to make a run to at least one myself in the next day or two and if they have one, I'll let you know. Both in my area do worldwide shipping. It seems like one of them had one sitting on the shelf and they'll match Tower's price.

You could buy the O.S. TZ 18(S) and I see the 18 TZ-T crank is still listed. I think the price was $43 for the crank. Love this engine in my Vegas.

I gotta agree with Paul. They mark an engine as discoed...get some more in...mark it as discoed again...then jack the price way up and sell the rest out. Check there every day...I am betting you will be able to find one...
I wonder what OS is up too...they keep discontinuing their good engines (CVRM, then the TZ)...??

Pullstart version has a different crankshaft - you would also need this

which makes the engine pretty expensive.
Did anyone try RC Planet? Good price too if they have them.
