It isn't Terry. Go back a page or 2 and you'll see what she used.

Still got somthings to do on it before that test run! Making a alum plate to go on top of the radio box. I'm doing this because when I tap the lid down it wont pull off paint. This happend to the stock Miss bud paint and blue angle hydro. Yes I did sand and prep the area wight. Was thinking on maybe using magnetic strips to hold down the radio box lid? I got this in the mail yesterday came from the same person who gave me that CMB!! So I want to say thankyou very much for the help and parts!!.New aquacraft starter belt 2 three blade props and two carbon fiber props. The one brass prop is a 937/3 The other I cant read the back hub, to small to tell. the two carbon fiber is 40M&42m. The outra 937/3 prop looks like a rigger prop. I might try that first? The other three blade prop,I never seen before got a werd shape to it??

That "weird" prop looks like a 1337/3. The V937/3 can make the boat hard to launch and the boat has to stay on plane. It might not be enough for a .21 as the V940/3 would be better.

Ok she''s almost done!! Still need to get a fail safe system and some more props. Trying to find used ones. trying to find panther 215 might be the ticket! also 220 225. Grims 42x53/3. Also putting on my saltwater scoop on it.I was the first one to put saltwater scoop on a proboat in 06 on my Miss bud V tail hydro, now the Blue Angel. It will be removable and flip open like the big boys do. The weather cant make ups it mind!! Cold and rainy some breaks of sun light!! Plus now I have to find a new pond to run in too.[] Lost my old running spot, friend sold his place!! The lake is to cold to run in and now I have to get a resque boat if this boat dies on the lake I would have to swim out to get it,too cold too do that.[:@] Dont trust to swim in that yukie lake water.[:'(] Ok I'm doing another 1/12 Oberto conversion with some new tricks at I'm going to try!! If it works I'll be the first to pull it off!! It will be on my new post on autobody fiberglass and repair and paint 101 at I'm going to make and post about.

Ok I did get three quick test runs on her so fare. Need to do three more before I video it. Dealing with a lake that doesnt want to coroperate stinks..[:@] Going to check on three more ponds to see if I can run in,But I have a feeling that I might get shot down on them too. I did attenpt in one but the PD shaw me and told me to shut it down[:@][] So please be pation with me.[8D] Been working on a moded pro hull for a hot CMB.21. made new rear tail fins &wings, there half the weight from the stock ones, they fold up like the real hydros=no worries about tailfins cracking at the base. The wing will adjust like the vegas and front spoiler will work by third channel servo. This is my last 1/12 I will ever own and work on.Want to step up to bigger and better things/boats. I'm doing this as an exsparement to see if these mods will help stay and run on the water better. Man it's hard to fin a pond to run in!! I think mainly because the pond owners are affraid if somthing happends to us there responsable!![X(] Can anyone reconmend a quiet tune pipe? I got an Iwiran big its to big for my boat. The area I run in is a rich/higer class people area and I dont want to upset them,Or I'll lose my spot to run in. I havent got any complaints yet but dont want to chance it eather.[]

That looks like St. Mary's Lake! I got a quick shot of it when I went to the Gas Nat's.
Have you tried the Celina pond?

Dont like that pond!![:'(] I get the hebies jeebies there at that pond because six people died there in that pond.[] There a tube that runs to the pond threw/to the lake=strong under curants or suckion.[:@] They found the last guy stuck at the screen where it going into the lake.I think that pond is cured,If I remember two guys recked there boats at the races last year? Trying to find a pond more near me because of the gas prices.[] I got two props comming for it too.215&440/3 This will be very interesting!!! I got a 40mm prop on it now she faster then my other boats. Ron I did try that 937/3 Your wright about it!! Can get it to take off and harder to get the boat on plane too.[:'(]

Ok got two videos.[8D] Myboyfriend drove it and my aunt video it. I had to work that day and he found a new spot to run too. It's closer to me. He ran the boat three times before they shot the video. In the video he was only on the throtle half way also had proublems with that CMB loading up on him too. also Said it got realy fliety on the front end like it was dancing to much on 3/4 throtle. The second video he lost radio signal and ran it up on the beach about 3/4 on the beach when he found it. That freaked him out big time. So now I'm going to change radio system and On&off switch too plus adding a failsafe system in it to. He said that boat is crazy fast and very dangerious. No more runs until I get that proublem fixed.[>:][link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk5t7KmdKZI[/link] second video[link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2U5Dq94LdI[/link] Pics of the damages at the rear and its fixed now. This boat was running a carbon fiber 40mm prop. The 215 needs to be rebalanced,it was shaking the rear tail shaft. Heres the new mod Oberto two hull that this CMB will going into later on. Still got more test to do on Oberto 1.

Too bad you did not have a breakaway rudder on that thing to prevent some of that damage

not to flame on your boyfriend, but he needs a little more practice runnin a hot hydro...lol...even with a cf prop, man that thing is a screamer.... when you push the envelope of a hull to it's extremes, your gonna have issues,i'm sure your up to this challenge, once you get your radio issues resolved and re-baa-lance that 215 prop, you'll be among the fastest of the 50mph proboats out there..... I just can't figure out why he ran the boat onto the beach at the end of the first vid. For all any of us know, he damaged the rudder right there, ripping it the rest of the way off in the second vid. There are right ways and wrong ways to retrieve a boat, and running it up on the beach is DEFINATELY THE WRONG WAY. Anyone that's scared of getting wet recovering it a few feet out shouldn't be driving it to begin with

HJ he shut it down before the beach. It only touched the beach alittle. Ok heres two short videos. The first one I'd had proublem with the temp to get it to at least go half throtle or maybe the 215 might be alittle much?and did a very short run because kids where throwing big firecrackers into the lake and was afraid the PD might get called. The second video was better put the 40mm carbon fiber prop back on it and got it to rev better and could go over half throtle. but one kid thrown a stick into the lake to have his dog retrive it.[:@] That messed me out of 20-30 foot of more room to run in![:@] But she's jumping like a fish!!Had to bring her in because I'd stuff into that turn and injested water=wont go good.Got to get that boat stay planted on the water better so I can see what she'll do at full throtle! But I'm having troubles with it stuffing/nose diving in that one turn!!!![:@] It always does it!! Any ideas what you guys think what could be the proublem??[&:] Going to take it to the beach and get a good video because its a longer streach to run.[link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GviVRg9HlY[/link] second video.[link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rcjIdPo0GA&feature=related[/link] Still got more testing and fine tunning to do.

Try some different strut angles and depths and maybe a 3 blade prop, also noticed you are turning a lot in those vids, let her air out some more in the straights and gentle wide turns.

Since the rudder was fixed and it seems to be stuffing it the same way I would check or try a different rudder angle or even turn fin angle. Maybe tuck the rudder in a little to keep the nose down and away from wanting to lift and hop in the corner.

That's just the way the team is in general. They let me crawl all over the boat every year in Seattle to take pics, get measurements, etc
