Gooy,
Thanks for setting up the balloting procedure. BTW, it should be "their boats:" Sorry, but us old retired school teachers just cannot help ourselves.
Congrats to all who finished the "Build Challenge." Great looking boats.

Congrats Racer504 !!!
Looks like you Won the Build Challenge.
You did an awesome job showing and explaining and repairing your build with very clear and descriptive pictures. Congrats to all that participated and all that finished, alot of people think the art of building a boat from plans or a kit is slowly dieing out (but we proved them wrong). Again, Thank You Everyone for participating we will have to do this again in the fall when the water gets HARD.

RE: HYDROPLANE BUILD CHALLENGE V2.0
Thank You! (Me taking a bow) That was fun and interesting. Never tried anything like that before. Thanks for all the nice comments. To top that off, one of the new Eliminator 3's placed first in B sport tunnel and an Eliminator 2 placed second at Evansville this past weekend. I placed 7th (I think). Just couldn't keep it running. Another friend of mine was also in there somewhere with an E3. He couldn't miss the bouys. I think he hit all 8 of them at one time or another! For James, who took first place, it was his first boat race ever!! He had never even seen a race before this weekend and had never driven around bouys before open water on Friday. The conditons were terrible for tunnels. High winds and rough water really hurt the big names so if you had the patience to deal with the rough water you had an advantage. Thanks again guys. It was fun. Mike
