RE: Mono Launching Query
with a 21 you should be able to put the boat in the water and it should take off
if you are having problems mite be your fuel what you using

RE: Mono Launching Query
With everything being surface drive...they get a little harder to launch unless you want a shower...heh. Gotta kind of have forward motion on it, and have the back end point away from you a little when it hits the water.
My .45 speedmaster mono...I kind of toss it out there a little sideways, and it grabs and takes off.

RE: Mono Launching Query
I do an underhand toss like what Jerry described. The boat gets up on plane faster and less if no cavitation. I feel that it's also easier on the driveline.
I've got a buddy that I'd pit for that raced an .80 mono. I learned how to give it a long toss then turn away quickly as he liked to launch at what seemed like near full throttle and I'd get hosed down every time!
