Fast in turn/ Slow in straight aways
My boat is always speeding up when I turn, and then slows down when I start going straight again. Is this a prop issue, a strut issue, or an engine issue (too lean/rich)?
Boat is a supervee 27, 30% nitro, M440 prop.
Thanks.

Well, its the stock pipe that came with the boat. I have not changed the length of the pipe at all. I didn't know if the length could or should be changed.

I dont do monos alot for sure but this is a question. Could his strut/stinger angle be wrong, meaning in the corners his prop gets a chance to unload and as soon as he straightens out his prop loads up again? Its just an idea, not sure this kinda thing happens.

Dont lean it yet. I had the same problem with my BJ26. The problem was that my prop was too low. When you turn, as the boat leans the prop is at the rite heigh. When you run straight the prop is too far below the water and this loads up the engine to much. Try raising it little by little. Too much though and it will just cavitate.....I speak from experience.
