Default Picco .67 EXR, Any help?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me ANYTHING about the Picco .67EXR?

I've been offered one but I don't know this engine. It's the later version (silver head) 3 years old but un-run???

Any help?

Hey guys,

This is the Picco I got from a guy here in the UK, Does anybody recognise it? It should be a Picco .67 EXRbut it has no makings at all, I know almost nothing about it except it should be un-run, it was fitted in a boat about three years ago but was never used????

I've had the head and rear cover off and it does seem new. Is that con rod standard? I have another, smaller Picco and the design is completely different...

Any help would be great!

Hi Killer55..

You have the first series of EXR 67. It has an 8mm stepdown in the front of the crank. They were prone to breaking at the stepdown. Just try to get your collett to run as true as possable. Otherwise, this motor is a powerhouse. Parts are very hard to come by. Take it easy when you break it in, and it should last you a long time. BTW, that is the stock conrod.
