Default upgrading gen 1 miss bud

hey all i have been looking through other posts and some have talked about putting a flex cable on a miss bud . Can i just buy the miss vegas strut , cable , rudder , and make it work ? how would i connect the flex cable to my motor ? i see the miss vegas uses a compression collet , will this bolt onto my stock motor ? Would i see any real advantages ? the miss bud goes ok , i have a 535 prop on it , i hate having to hand launch it , once i lose the plane thats it i cant get it back up .

I did on my Oberto.21. I have the Miss Vegas rudder and strut and the flex cable on it. I'd made a bracket to fit on my stock strut mount to bolt to the vegas adjustable strut on it. I have the Miss Bud second gen flex drive hull. The last pic was before I'd did the custom paint job on it.
