Default mv keeps stalling

My mv is still in the break in stage but won't keep running on its on, if I keep the glow plug on it the engine stays running but if I remove it seconds later it stops. When I blip the throttle it will run for a second and then die. When I try giving it half throttle it dies. Am I running it to lean or to rich? Help Thanks

While I am a noob and this is only what I think. Sounds like a bad glow plug to me, did you try using another one? When breaking the engine in bits of metal worn off during the break in can damage the glow plug. Hope this helps!

It is pretty hard to diagnose an idle problem, because the boats arent really meant to idle. You always have to blip the throttle a little to keep it from loading up with fuel.

If it was idling OK if you keep blipping the throttle, but then dies when you try to give it some throttle...that would sound like your LSN it pretty close to being right, but your HSN is off (probably too lean).

To me, it sounds like your LSN is a little rich, and your HSN is lean.

How many turns out is your HSN?
