Default Need A Good Boat

I got a K&B 3.5 outboard and looking for a good boat that I can put it on but I do got 2 requirements tho.
1. Boat hull needs to be light and strong "to withstand my punishment"
2. I like to go fast.

You'll have better luck posting in the nitro forum, but try a tunnel hull like the aquacraft VS1 when it comes out. Or an Aquacraft Topspeed 2 if you can find one, they've stopped making them though.

Default RE: Need A Good Boat

I met with a guy who runs 6-7 tunnel hulls this weekend. He has several mfrs. I asked him about the VS1 (he has pre-ordered one). He said its a great boat if you want to run an unmodified boat; I asked him what his pick would be for a mod set up... his reply was an HTB hull (which he owns, along with a couple Leecrafts and some others I dont remember the names of) Here is a link: http://www.htbboats.com/htbtunnels.htm; the 290 was the one he suggested.
