I had the blackjack 26, the stock motor sucked so replaced it with a go engine .18 and the boat woke up. Added header and tuned pipe as well as octura props and aeromarine laminates rudder kit. The boat was a blast until the hull started cracking and since I hit one to many rock with the rudder the rear transom cracked. How's the bj26ss? I plan on ordering one. I just got a .25 motor that I'd love to throw in it and see what it does. Any problems so far with it?

i just recieved the ss version a week or two ago, everything is pretty good so far i would like to make an attemp at putting thunder cats, .32 in. the turn fins! they like to try to fill the hull with water more so then with out them on, could have come with a much better prop being a "super sport" in all, all in all i like the boat alot and would recomend to all.

Maybe some autobailers might be a quick fix.

I just ordered all the SS parts for my old blackjack. But when I tried to install the flex shaft its almost an inch too short. I double checked the part number (PRB3764) and they did send me the correct one. As far as I can tell from all the pictures of the SS that I've seen, its absolutely the same boat except for the engine, radio box, and hardware. Anyone know what the problem is? The only thing I can think of is that the flex shaft they sent me was maybe packaged wrong.
