Breaking in my kyosho C-1 CAT
hey people,
i just got myself a kyosho boat, the C-1 CAT labmorghini boat.
i want to break it in,but everytime i start the engine it heats up,the pipes to the head are correct, but the problem is that i can't see any water getting out of the out-put,i even tried to swap the pipes and it still didnt work..this is my first R/C boat,no past experience with boats..
so..any ideas people??

when you say the pipes do you mean the water tubing for cooling the engine?
disconnect the line at the exit and try to blow through it, do the same from the input to test both the exit and the pick up, there could be a blockage.
it is also normal for the engine to get warm when running without water and the boat needs to be moving faster than idle speed to pick up water.

ok,
so if the exit and the pickup and the lines have no blockage its a good start.
can the water pick up be adjusted to make certain that the prop is forcing water in?
how fast was the boat going when you noticed no water was coming out?

also make sure you adjust the needle so that the engine is running rich on the table, if you set it that the engine is running nice and crisp it will die on the water because it will be too lean.
