Cool looking boat. I just ordered one too, and can't wait to get her in the water.

That is a sharp looking boat. The old shovelnose look is very cool. I dropped a Go Marine .18 in my hydro and love it. Very robust engine. Can be a little tricky to break in though - be patient - its worth it.

I must be a grandpa cause I like the old shovels , and in the 1/8 scale world I still see them running with the new forks.

Boys and Girls,

lets not wait for Matt or Dreamin to come in and lock the thread.

I may not be a Mod but there are days that I wish I was.

The thread is about Miss Emily, The Boat, not who make's them or who sell's them. The fact that we may like or dislike the person that sell's them is irrelevant, everyone is entitled to their opinions and feelings and some more than others, but lets keep it out of this thread and communicate those feelings using the PM function.

The boat looks good regardless and I sure hope it will be a good runner and trouble free. The last thing we want is push people away from this forum and look like a bunch of idiots on the other forum.

lets all get along and play nice,

Merry X-Mas.

Dan

I don't think we are trying to turn people away from a good boat, we are trying to warn them that the builder of this boat has taken thousands of peoples hard earned money by offering a product that he cannot deliver. I am certain the first few buyers will get their boats, then, you will see people start asking why theirs has not arrived. It happened in his other business because he is a con artist. He makes death threats to the people that give him their money...I know, I was one of those people. We just want people to know who the builder/ owner is. He is changing his face to get back into the market and eventually pillage members. Heck, look on the Kansas BBB, and you will see what they have to say about his other business. If you are not familiar with his other business name, PM me, and I will tell you. I cannot say it on here, as any mention of his name, or company is automatically deleted..yes, it is that bad.

i think it's neat looking boat, and if it handles ok, what the heck, another nice rtr for the nitro boat enthusiast, especially something a little oldschool, never hurts the hobby in my opinion.......... the business side will work itself out however it needs to. this thread is about the boat, dan s said it all, as well as it can be said.

that being said, i like it..........

Yeah, I'm tired of typing about "him" also but to the subject at hand.
I saw the video and it does appear to be a fast boat. I don't like the stars on the deck though but that's me.
As far as the Thunderboats go I love seeing the old-school style put a whoopin' on the newer boats at the races in the 1/8 scale class. With some more detailing this one has possibilities.

Dan, if they ever need another Mod in here, you've got my vote!
