Default looking for a strut

I'm looking for a strut for my hydro .187 (3/16 prop shaft)
can anyone tell me where I can get one and not be Octura ( I don't like taking a stab in the dark with Octura products)

What do you mean stab in the dark? octura still has good products. Or do you mean the non user freindly website? Speedmaster is also a good site.

Octura does not have a web site. Call Octura for a catalog at (847)674-7351. No charge for catalog. Not a lot of pictures. Order via mail with money order, no credit cards. Octura seems to be a bit old fashioned, but still good stuff. Also check their prop prices versus Grimracers at Tower. I know the Grim prop for Miss Vegas is about twice the cost of Octuras.

The Speedmaster site is www.rossisales.com if you need it.
The Octura stuff isn't that bad. I just installed an Octura strut on my latest build, a Sport 12 hydro set up with a 3/16" drive but I wouldn't use that one on anything with more power.

Demon,

what size engine are you looking at running? and
when you say Hydro, are you talking about a Sport Hydro or a Rigger?

Thanks,

Dan.
