Good going you guys, I am still waiting for my hull. Good luck today out in the lake!!!!!! I am really interested in seeing how that O.S. does in the cat, I have been wanting a 0.21 cat for a long time now! As for your gas mono Ron Olson, I think i have heard that the "razor" is a quicker boat than the "lazer:", is that correct? (that the lazer is more for heat racing?)

I don't know about faster or slower, I got a deal on mine that was too good to turn down. The Razor was supposed to be made for a stock engine but has seen everything up to as 35 cc Blata. The Lazer is the best rough water boat that I've seen run which also affected my decision. How mine does might be another thing.  We'll find out in a few hours.

Took the TC31 to the pond today.Made this video. Please listen to it and tell me what you think. I'm mostly wide open but in the turns it sounds like its falling
off the pipe. I had trouble with the pipe sliding back about 1/2" in the couple soI will have to fix that. That might be part of the problem. Not sure exactly where to
start on the top end screw??

I will richen it a little and see if that helps with falling off the pipe. Pipe length is 8.5" if I measured right. It went 41.5mph on
gps so its already 4.6mph faster than the stock pipe and its not tuned in or try different props. I think 45mph will be possible for sure.

Second video is of
my 10yr son running his shovel nose with aquacraft brushless motor/esc with small x440 prop did 40.0mph on gps.

i heard what you are speaking of in the 1st video (but not the 2nd video BTW). Just a comment.... I'm gradually working on shortening up my pipe (different boat & engine) and it was mentioned to me that when I got too short on the pipe, one of the possible symptoms I might see would be the engine sagging in the corners.... which leads me to toss out that you might want to try lengthening your pipe a little as the possible culprit.

Yes, it is definately falling off pipe. My guess is pipe is a little short and prop is a little big. Maybe your should "backcut" the prop just a little. I am sure ron olson can help out too. Also what nitro are you using? and i am sure that engine can "sing" more!!!

Nitro is 50% prop is already a m440 I thought it would be small enough but maybe not. Pipe is no longer than 8.5". Guess I could try it at 9" easily.
Sounds pretty good when on the pipe, that .21 does sing. Its going over 4mph+ faster than the stock motor and is turning a much smaller prop so its reving high.

The Dynamite seems to be more of a torque motor instead of an RPM one so it can turn larger props. In order to get the speed out of the OS, you're going to have to prop down to something like a X-440 to allow it to wind up.

Going to try this pipe next time out. I think its a .21 Andy Brown parabolic pipe. Its a little shorter and fatter. Not sure what effect it will have???
Here is a pic of it next my macs 3.5 pipe. Have it set to 8" cmd racing website says to set it between 7.8" - 8.3"
