Default RE: force 3.5 engine problems

I have a question for you.
last time you were out with the boat and it was running good was when (last summer)?

Do you remember where was the HSN at?

Just to give an example, lets say that last summer the engine was running with the HSN at 2 3/4 turns out and now the only way you can get the engine running is at 4 turns out.
thats a big difference and it should not be so, if this scenario fits your situation this means that you are compensating with a rich mixture caused by another problem.
that problem could be that the engine has an air leak somewhere, could be from a fuel line (small pin hole), carb not seated properly and the one that happens too often, a bad bearing.
