Thundercat Canopy?
I noticed there is a pic of a thundercat that doesn't use the factory rear screw assembly to hold the back of the canopy down. The one I saw uses 2 rubber fastener setups on either side of boat. I was wondering where these were bought, or what materials and where to purchase these materials. I've been contructing this boat from scratch and am almost done. This is one of the last things for me to do, and its got me stumped? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are several ways to make them yourself, here's one example but I don't have any shots to show you of mine.
You can use plane landing gear straps that mount to the fuselage and have the "U" in the middle, Du-Bro makes them. The rubber O-rings you can get in a faucet repair kit from most hardware departments. A simple setup at the other end is just servo screws and the brass grommets.
Some sites sell you the complete setup but they're super-simple to make up yourself from parts that you might just have laying around.

That's basically what I did on mine. Small landing gear straps, o-rings from the HD (in the plumbing dept.) and the ball post from a ball and socket joint.
Ball post I used: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXEMG0&P=7
