Dan, it seems like they have a lot of power, in the 5-6 HP range. I've seen a few run, they're monsters when dialed in! Where to get parts for them, I honestly couldn't tell you.

Dan, I believe you can buy bearings here http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.as...de&pg=2&mfr=19 For gaskets I use either paper grocery sacks or manilla office folders to obtain the required thickness. It's a pain to cut your own gaskets, but they work. Good luck, hope this helps.

I went to team picco and saw the picco .90 but that is the new version I have the older version with the aluminum colored head. Team picco doe's not give you a horsepower rating. Ron I know you said 5 to 6 HP but can you be more persice? And would you know what prop to use? I have read alot of your posts and you really sound like you know what you are talking about and would appretiate any help. Thanks, Dan

About the prop I fergot to mention it is going in a 44" speedworld sonic 44. I finally found the website for the boat I have rcspeedworld.com they make a catamaran and a v hull which is mine called the sonic 44. It is intended for a gas engine but I am putting in the picco .90 Does it matter?
The only thing that I am haveing trouble with is the motor mounts. I made some out of aluminum but they dont look so hot and don't know if they will hold.  Doe's anybody know where to get motor mounts for a .90 size engine for 5" rails? Dan

The hp of the picco 90 really does not matter as it will have more power and rpm than almost any gaser engine , the picco was a very competitive engine in its day and still is.......

If you watch E-bay you could fine a older style. Watch what you buy, Look over for wear .mounting holes, carb Ask Questions, buy if you feel it's a deal. A price $ 80- $180 MAX if less $ GREAT
NOT a uncommon engine

If it was already build for a gas-engine :

Buy the Zenoahmount that belonged to the existing drills.

Buy a foot of 3/8"x 3/8" bar stock , make bars that fit between the front and aft part of the Zenoah-mount ,

put the Picco on the bars , drill and tap , and there is your perfect 5" Nitro-mount.

If Zenoah-drills or the midsection-cut is not convenient , you can add 1/8"sheet to cover that.

When ordering metric-bearings for the Picco , ordering C3 fit , polyamide or phenolic retainer and RS shields is VITAL.

The inner shield has to come off , 2nd shield is always on the OUTside.
