Hi all,
I want to remove the old teflon liner in my stuffing tube and replace it with new on my 1/12 Miss Elam nitro. The problem is that Ihave never done it before. It seems pretty straight forward but Iwas wondering if anyone had any tips to offer to help make things go smoother. Should I oil the outside of it before I insert the liner? Heat? How often do I need to do this maintenance?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Grab the old one and pull it out and slide the new one it. Do not lubricate it you don't want it spinning it the stuffing tube. Actually cutting a bit long on engine side and splitting the end in four then folding
those back and tywrapping on the outside of tube if there is room is a good idea to prevent it from spinning and sliding up on collet.
