I have an old rossi 61 marine engine,ithas a ringed piston , rear exhaust disc valve induction,does anybody know where i may be able to get a new ring and any other parts.

good luck on that one guy.

that motor has not been in production for decades.

you might want to google rossi engines and see if there are any importers for teh rossi line
and see if the are plane version of the 61 (if that is still being made) will work.

if your ring is frozen you might want to dump the motor in ATF to see if that will free it up.

Thats the guy, I was trying to remember his name , if the sleeve and piston are ok it should run good with a new ring, check those bearings out real good , that engine is'nt a high rpm type but it will probably spin a good size prop....

Thanks for the info piston and sleeve are ok , i will replace bearings if i can get a new ring.How can i get in contact with Frank.
