Default Rossi .40 worth buying?

Hi guys, I have never posted in the nitro forum I'm usually in the gas section, but I came across this Rossi .40 engine in a blokes shed and he said I could buy it but I'm not sure what its worth and neither is he. He brought it new in 1993 kellets hobbies liverpool had 2 or 3 tanks through it. Apparently its a .45 but the .45 and .40 both had 40 stamped on the case? Is this motor worth buying and if so how much would it be worth? Also what size hull would it suit? Thanks to everyone in advance.
Cheers, Chris

That is a great engine, less trouble than the ops 45, the rossi has a lot of grunt and would be nicein a 40 size hydroplane , the problem will be parts but if well taken care of it can give years of good times, I would say $150.00us not over &200.00

Man, those are killer engines. You dont see too many of those especially in new condition, once broken in, it should last years...
