Dumas quikie 40

I have have a dumas quikie 40 that has a kb 7.5 engine with the throttle in the exhaust. I was thinking about converting it to brushless electric. What size brushless motor would I need? Thanks for any advice. Was looking at the proteus but it looks a little big.

No idea as this is a nitro boat forum. You might want to ask in the FE forum.
I haven't seen one of those boats since about 1998. That one the owner went nuts with, 3 K&B .21 outboards on it, one on each sponson and of course, one on the transom. It didn't go too far but had a serious prop-walk problem! The boat was featured in an RCBM show off your boats article.

I'm not a FE guy, but probably any "full" P setup.
