which nitro engine?

1 Attachment(s)
Please would someone tell me which nitro engine to use on my boat. I have a full working electric Kyosho Jetstream 800 that I want to convert to nitro. The standard model uses a .16 engine but I'd like to go a bit larger. I have a Ripmax and an Irvine catalogue for reference but there are quite a few engines to choose from. I would spend up to about £200 on the engine so I have a few choices. No gearbox, I'm planning a direct drive system. Any ideas?? I have also seen in the Irvine catalogue, an outboard/sterndrive unit for about £250, anyone used one? Any info would be great.

you can use car engines. just wrap some brass pipe around the cooling head and connect that to the water in/out. wraptie it on though.

I have a "ABC Hobby" Nitro Falcon that installed with .15 engine and tune pipe, it runs great.

What i meant is you will notice the great difference if you install a tune pipe on your jet stream 800.
